TownePlace Suites by Marriott New York Manhattan/Times Square

Pros: -Customer service was great! Came back to a cleaned room almost every night and they were very kind. -the rooms were very clean! Never had a problem with the cleanliness -It was close to all the major sights and food places all around it! -The morning food service was good but not much options for people who are picky and want options. -good security, at 7 pm there’s a doorman who watches the doors and you have to use your key card in order to enter the building -they hold your bags in a locked room while you wait to check in Cons: -one elevator that was slow and shared by the staff. Every time we used it we had to make multiple stops and it was crammed because the cleaning people had all their carts with them. Very frustrating -Can be very loud at night and in the mornings. Constantly hearing sirens -insanely small rooms and shower but you’re in NYC so expectations have to be tampered. Overall: My wife and I enjoyed staying here and would recommend it to others! Thank you to the staff for accommodating us! Check in isn’t until 4 pm but they had a room open up so we could check in around noon instead.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Excellent customer service. Rooms are more smaller than expected but are very clean and nice. I will be back to Manhattan for my birthday and I will stay here. The waitress at the breakfast bar are super sweet. They guy that cleans the hotel is very particular to detail. He swept behind every seat. The customer service ladies were not as bubbly as they are here in the south, however they were patient and kind and beautiful appearance. We did not request room service we thought we would be able to managed without it for three days. When we came back to our room it was clean and our trash was removed. How kind. The location is walking distance to Time Square, Rockefeller Center and other popular locations. The breakfast food was good for continental breakfast.

My stay at this hotel was good. The staff were friendly and personable. The room was clean and included a stove and microwave. It was also small but the size was normal for NYC. The ac worked well during the day, keeping the room cold but at night it was a bit warm. The downside to the experience was the elevator not working and having to walk down 7 flights of stairs to make it to our destination on time. They did fix the elevator during our stay. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.
